I think Pereira is very, very good, but he lacks that burst of pace to really be a top player imo. Fantastic dribbler and technician though, the ball sticks to his boot like a magnet when he plays, and you always want more players like that in the league. I would take him as a squad option if the price is right but I don't think he's what we really need.

Things are heating up a bit around this one. Several places claim that we're about to make a bid for him. The rumour is that we were very keen on Buendia in January too and Norwich pushed for Saliba on a short-term loan in return as part of the deal, but we ultimately didn't have the cash to get him.

Also reading that Buendia is supposedly keen on the move, and there was also something about a gentlemen's agreement he could leave this summer if he stayed and helped them get promoted.
My biggest concern is the price (basically what we paid for Partey) in terms of our limited funds.

i think ESR should play deeper, and then we'd have buendia, pepe, and saka to rotate at LW/RW, with auba and martinelli in the middle. i hope and pray we sell laca this summer and be done with that
