Houseboat talk that Wolves want to sign Nketiah £15/20m
The Jan Tran
Push them to £25m
He’s the leading scorer for England kids. And as Sam Allardyce now knows, getting European talent is going to become harder and more expensive under Brexit. So gouge them.

In my mind he's a far better fit for Partey than Xhaka or Ceballos.
AMN or Willock as B2B with Partey taking the more defensive responsibility?
I think AMN would be an interesting partner for Partey, but it's clear he won't get CM minutes here.

AMN and nketiah for £50m or fuck off wolves.
Only the mirror...
I’d steer well clear...
Mia San Mia. Fuckouttahere. Sounds like a $2 Més Que Un Club and you know what I think of them.
Draxler linked
Trabelsi too soon I bet

Spot on.
Imagine “announcing” that you do not want a player, and he misses the Mia San Mia attitude
You have to understand mia san mia means "we are we" in Bavaria caveman lingo. This is actually very thought and respectful to say they pass on Brandt because he would look out of place next to fine examples of the Herrenrasse such as this

Buy 1 now to start, keep them all as back up and sell in the summer ideally. However we've seen its difficult to move players on when we want. We might need to just sell Elneny now while there is interest and money on the table.
Yea but a couple of injuries and we'd be fucked. Not to mention Arteta and Edu would be slaughtered online.
Yeah, we're bloated in a lot of areas but centre mid definitely isn't one of them. No one is going to pay anything interesting for Elneny anyway, especially the Turkish clubs, it would probably cost us more to loan someone in as cover.
We aren't bloated in centre mid but the players we have are all shit apart from Partey. Makes sense to get rid if possible.
Papa is as good as gone, some noise about Ozil to Fener this month..but that would be to good to be true.
Best way to get rid of Ozil is to clear out his benchwarmer friends. The prospect of a lonely 6 months without friends to laugh at his jokes will surely push him away
I've given up on selling Özil a long time ago. If we manage to give him away it will still be a miracle.
I see a loan to Juve mentioned. I can see the appeal. Lots of great players on that squad. If he’s still interested in playing football a chance to brand himself as something more than a Turkish League part timer

Current talk re Ozil is that DC United have been in contact with him and are prepared to include expansions of his fashion range and coffee business as part of the deal.

Fits with what I understand their position to be as being the best representation of Germanic talent on and off the pitch, and their continuity of former players through their football executive provides further continuity of this.
Plenty of Alpha males type mentality binding together.
They are just a scummy, disgusting and classless club.

I can't stand the term alpha but even if you wanted to use the term it doesn't fit here. They're a bunch of dumb xenophobic or downright racist dickheads who either are good at football or in terms of their executives used to be good at it. That's all there is to them, if they were leaders they wouldn't go to jail for tax evasion, they wouldn't be caught smuggling Rolexes by customs, they wouldn't hang their national team mate out to dry claiming they've never encountered racism anywhere in German football. They're trash humans with a superiority complex in need of a hiding to learn some humility.
For the short version see flobs
I would like this to happen. Get him in and get rid of Elneny in the summer.
If Afcon ever happens next January, we lose our two starting midfielders for a month
Still haven't forgiven him for slapping Monreal.
Kicking all our guys into the air last year

When did Bissouma slap Monreal?

When did Bissouma slap Monreal?
I am half joking but was after the match in 2019 when they drew at Emirates. Can't find the video clip but this image you should be able to remember what happened next.

Don't even remember Bissouma from before the game after the restart. But yeah, I think I can vaguely kind of remember something like that picture.
Edit: Found it. No slap but the guy was getting too excited for a draw lol.
He’s not laughing at Monreal anyway. You could see he was talking to someone that’s not in the shot. Probably a teammate.
Claudius, are you fake news?
Claude is most definitely real.

Ah remembered it wrongly. There was one other guy who slapped him on the head while celebrating, confused him with that guy

The only prat I remember doing something like that was that Birmingham guy after the League Cup final on Koscielny.

Balogun, Nketiah and Nelson? What to do?
Balogun has been linked to Swansea on loan. They’ve been linked to strikers so they really want someone in. Would be good if he signed an extension and went there.
I’d keep Nketiah. See if he can function with Saka on the right and ESR at 10. Like everyone else, he’s also had the disadvantage of a tough first half of the season. I think we owe him a full season to show his stuff.
Nelson should’ve gone on loan. And should do so now. Unless Arteta believes he can spell ESR
I'd send all three on loan (provided Balogun signs, otherwise I'd try to sell him with a buyback clause). They're probably not going to get many minutes anyway with the depth we have in front of them. Martinelli is not even guaranteed regular playing time and he's way ahead of all three. There's no league cup anymore and the EL group stage is over. We only have one or two FA Cup games left before we'll have to start taking that competition seriously too.
All three need regular game time to take the next step. Secure loans for them this week and they could make 20-25 starts before the season is over. This is why we're supposed to have a loan manager.
Oh and send Willock on loan too, the bloke was brilliant in the Europa League this season and he deserves better than not being included on most weekends. He needs playing time too to develop further.
Agree they all need loans except Balogun, I think half a season with us and then a loan next season is probably best for him.
The thing is we need to trim the squad down now and if we miss out on Europe next season we need to loan a lot of young players out and hope the following year they come back ready for rotation or playing EL groups. If we fail that 2 seasons in a row we need to sell even more. Our squad is already to big as is, without Europe its outrageously bloated.
