Most of our shit players contracts are ending in 1 or 2 years, so I think we are set up pretty well in the medium turn.. Just need to get Champions League this year or next and we can start to really push on.

That’s the one value signing we can still make, and I think we will.

Willian is fine, and honestly if we're not getting our top targets I'd rather we give the likes of ESR a fair shot by reserving him some fair playing time.

We've got a squad of about 50 right now, let's see how the current crop do then once all the dross is out next summer we can properly re-assess what we need.

Buendia unlikely to happen. Squad bloated. Agree with Goon. Manager needs to integrate the pieces now and make progress til December. And then we can make further adjustments in January if needed. We still have so much o see from Aubameyang, Ceballos, Saka, Pépé and the new recruits. Let’s focus on that

They did change AFCON to the summer but then they realised the host country was too hot in the summer so they moved it to Jan.

Meanwhile the fall out in Atleti continues. Simeone is very angry with Atleti for this sale, because he has asked them to offer him a new contract with a higher payout clause to protect this transfer and they keep delaying. It's literally a huge bargain for a world class CM at 45m.
