Should have done more to thwart that Thomas chance that went just wide of the post in the 2nd half. Dallying prior to a bit. Later, a simple lobbed front pass would have released Aubameyang 1v1 on goal when Leicester's back line were pushed high up chasing the game. He executed awkwardly and unsuccessfully. Was looking to him to help us in the middle period of the game, not sure exactly how. Wouldn't say his best game but rather another building block towards his best self.

Both Xhaka and Partey are short term. Elneny is basically a nonfactor. AMN is a good utility player. We've got room for both Lokonga and Tchouameni.

Really needs to step up. I didnt expect him to have the transformative effect on us like others did, but I have been disappointed with 1) Lack of availability and 2) lack of security in the basics in too many games.

He has been decent at times, but it's not really good enough when you consider his age and how long he's already been here. If he leaves us having given just 12months of really good form I'd be a bit underwhelmed, and yet even that isn't a given.

Shy and introverted and very sloppy with his passes which pisses me off.

Been a flop signing so far bar some good games here and there.

He's been a bit shit but most of the team has played like shit bar some good games here and there. Whilst Parey certainly needs to shoulder responsibility for his looseness in possession, our biggest issues still is the rubbish way we set up.

dunno if he's struggling to keep pace in England, but he just looks off it. haven't seen him be much of a ball winning force either. perhaps he does need a pure sitting midfielder next to him to be the steadying metronomic presence. definitely disappointed with his performances and lack of overall impact

Not making excuses for Partey because I think someone as accomplished and experienced as he is should be leading by example. But I think generally, when your best players are starting to look like pale imitations of themselves, it's a pretty clear sign that the issue lies somewhere else. Give it a season and newcomers like Tomiyasu and Ramsdale will probably start to look jaded and lethargic too.

Definitely think this is the case too, though. Bissouma is a bit tainted at the moment, but if he's cleared by the police then I think we should make a big effort to sign him in the summer.

Remember reading his errors leading to goals were high at Atletico too, I think it’s always been a feature of his game, except here he hasn’t got anywhere near the same level of protection.

oh it was simeone restricting him, he needs more freedom. we were wrong he can't handle freedom, restrict him to ball winning and sitting in front of the back four with his defensive awareness. that's what he was great at for simeone, he had the most recoveries in the opposition half and overall for atletico. he's also better at longer passes than short ones where he's quite sloppy maybe because he had more practice with the former at atletico.

It’s not always on the manager. Not everyone can deal with the pressure of wearing our badge and being under so much scrutiny week in week out (including social media etc).

What pressure? We've finished 8th for two years and everyone in charge thinks that's perfectly acceptable. There's no expectations at Arsenal so why would anyone feel pressed? This is a place to get comfortable and lazy, not a high-achieving environment.

We’re still a big club mate and everything that comes with it. How many mentions/abuse to these guys get on social media? Compare that to someone playing for Everton.

Not easy playing in a 60,000 stadium in front of fans who are some of the most demanding in the land.
