To be fair, not sure I have seen any football players whom a section of their fans haven't turned on when they are playing badly.
Champions league 2020/21
It always strikes me how wrong I was about Modric whenever I've watched him for the last 6 years. I thought he was just a flamboyant version of David Bentley or Michael Carrick, or a slightly charged up version of Niko Kranjcar or Van der Vaart. Guess he was well clear of his Spurs peers and one of the best midfielders of the 2010s.
Wish we got Tuchel when PSG sacked him.
Nah. He’ll come unstuck. Don’t think Chelsea will get top four looking at the fixtures
Verratti is back and playing behind Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria. City's Foden - Berardo - Mahrez frontline looks laughable in comparison but I could still easily see any of the two sides win.
Excited for tonight. One should always savor a rare Veratti sighting. Ferrari of midfielders.
And they have Marquinhos sitting in the defence who's almost as good as Verratti in midfield too whenever they choose to play him there. I fucking hate PSG. That such an inherently unlikable club is able to collect so many great players without putting in any actual work is the travesty of modern football.
That being said I well and truly hope they win tonight. City might just be the one club that is less likable than they are.
Speaking of Marquinhos..
Champagne player.
Jermaine Jenas is not the ferrari of commentators, I'll tell you that much
I have rarely seen City so frequently penetrated and shaken. Star power.
PSG wasting opportunities, should be easily 2-0

There are no forwards in the PL of neither Mbappe's nor Neymar's quality so they probably feel like they can't push the fullbacks as high up as they usually do.
Veratti is so good, imagine one like him in our midfield
Battle of oil money.
Come on pep. Show us that genius now.

Better to have it on mute than to listen to him. His punditry is US house league coach level.

It’s not just that. PSG can actually go toe to toe with them in midfield. They ain’t scurred. They can retain possession and have the quality to release any one of the forwards through good combination play or an accurate through ball.

This always seems to do them in for some reason. It's so weird because they have the players to dominate centrally, but once they get pinned back on the flanks they're completely ineffective. Pep pulled them back and put Kyle Walker on marking Aubameyang in the FA Cup semi too, and he ended up scoring twice against them from that flank.
True Flobaba. Having multiple multi-faceted players makes a difference. The fact that both Di Maria and Veratti can either pass or take you on makes your respect them. Just see how Di Maria skipped past Cancelo like he was Bellerin.
