Werner gonna be Werner. Huge miss
Champions league 2020/21
And Pulisic scores a good goal
Pulisic is great. Sometimes.
100% bet you that any Arsenal player would hit the crossbar from that position this season

He is ridiculously calm and composed in the box.
What the fuck is Madrids backline doing there
Such a well worked move. Great goal Benz
Imagine if we'd gotten Benz all those years ago.. One of the strikers of this generation. And he's great at hold-up as well.

Saw someone call him "an extremely consistent player" on twitter. That's one way to put it I suppose

He's fantastic ManU were supe reager to get him at the time. But seems like his heart was set for going to Real. We'd lost our big guns at that stage and probably didn't have the pull or funds.
Think Quincy was talking about the time when Madrid want to offload him.
Dick Law mentioned we went there when we heard about it but they had a last minute change of mind and sold Higuain instead. Oh well
If we ssigned Benzema he would get slaughtered by Arsenal fans. He would probably lose all his confidence and value would plummet like pretty much anyone we sign.
Yeah what Clrnc said. Didn't even know we were interested when he left Lyon.

Yeah unlike Real Madrid fans who are very understanding in times of adversity.

That's such warped prediction.
At that time we really needed a striker, he would have been perfect for us and I can also predict that he will be a legend now, especially as he is the main guy here where most of his career he acted as a foil for Ronaldo.

Who I’m sure are comforted with CL and La Liga trophies to celebrate.
When Benzema left Lyon he was the talent of his generation. He stalled a bit at Real Madrid, but is still one of the most complete forwards of our time. I wish we had found a way to get him. That was some goal.
Werner is a lump of coal. He’s had 2 good seasons before this one. His finishing is atrocious. I think he has 11 goals on 25 xG or thereabouts this season. He belongs on Brighton

Fans turn on Auba, Ozil, Sanchez etc. After the initial buzz of signing a good player, the negative comments would have come out pretty easily over any petty thing. Fans would have a field day over the Valbuena story.

As if they care. They have equally as much supportive messages than negative ones.
Even when Ozil was really really bad consistently for a few seasons, he had so much support.

I don’t think I’ve seen any Arsenal player in recent memory who a section of the fans haven’t turned on. How many recent players have increased in value, Leno, Torreira, Pepe, Douzi, Saliba etc etc even a guy like Sanchez had a lot of detractors for being too one footed..
