Imagine if we had Grealish and Saka playing together.
This was the nice thing about the days of Rosicky, Fabregas et al. These guys were really smart and technical. They were good on the ball and could both make good runs and spot good runs. So things flowed beautifully. Right now that sort of syncing is missing. People dwell on the ball. They don't make the runs. It all moves like molasses most of the time.
Yes, but you wonder if its Wenger giving them massive freedom to do that? By all accounts Arteta is very strict positionally, like Pep. But of course it always helps to have many technicians in the team.
Currently our team is lacking massively in creativity and that won't change. Auba and run and finish, Pepe and run and finish and create occasionally but technically is very inconsistent, Saka is the better, can beat players, can make telling cross and 1-2s etc but we are still lacking that special creative player to string all together.
We used to have too many of that, now we have none.
