Auba's dad posted a clip of his goal against Villa (incredible goal by the way), and Auba, Laca, Pepe and Willian were all on the pitch. So you're probably right.

Not sure how well it bodes for us that we lost 3-2 in that game though 😆

That front 4 sounds more like what I want to see. There is plenty of opportunity to rotate Saka, Eddie, Nelson and ESR in there too. Given we haven't secured any of our midfield targets yet thats exactly what I want to see.

I dont think gabriel is ready. Ligue 1 ended a while ago and he didn't feature in many of lilles preseason games.

Either we go with saliba and holding in a back 4

Or we play tierney, rob, and saliba in a back 3

This is a decent team. Not loving the defence, but I don't know if we should put both Saliba and Gabriel out at the same time. And I can't see us going with 4 at the back at the moment. Hard to pick between Lacazette an Eddie as well. But Lacazette had a strong end to the season and if fit, I think I would go with him. Willian to get some minutes as well, in the second half.

It feels good. And 7 of those players would've been together all week. So they are ready to perform together.
Our centre back injury situation is just tragic.

Saliba, Holding, Tierney, Bellers and AMN has to be the best defence we've been able to field in lord knows how long. What's wrong with it?

I don't think that would be our defence tomorrow if Luiz and Mustafi was fit, and the defence that would've been fielded instead have started together pretty recently, hasn't it?

I don't know. I just know that I would take this constellation every day over one that contains Luiz and Mustafi together.
