Debatable. Think people are forgetting Luiz and Mustafis fuck up because there were solid towards the end of the project restart games. Anyway Holding was returning from injury and has taken a while to get back up to speed but I feel like he's been quietly improving all along.
That's the case for most of the squad. Before that the whole club was a mess aside from Aubameyang but we're all assuming that recent form is a better indicator that what was happening back in Jan/Feb.
To be clear this isn't a defence of Mustafi or Holding, they both should be on their way out. Luiz is only permissible in a back three.
