Benzema is such a wonderful creator. Sets up a goal with beautiful wing work, and they should’ve set up another 2 minutes later for Ramos’ profligacy

This is such a delicious action-packed tie. End to end stuff

Suarez with a great debut for Atletico as they beat Granada 6-1.

Scored twice and assisted a goal after coming on as a second half sub.

Emery really likes to be so defensive and concede the entire pitch to his opponents

Fati is a serious talent. Very impressed with how assured he is tonight when finishing chances.

"we shall be protagonists"

I'm not watching the game but the line up seems to be a lot more balanced now with Fati on the left and Coutinho through the middle. May surprise a few people - they're all still amazing footballers.

Insane composure

Simeone has decided to risk our midfielder against Huesca.
Love his pressing energy. He is playing in a 2 to the right of Saul. These 2 are NOT Xhaka/El Neny

After a poor early miss, Jovic just came off.
Benzema is relishing being a creative hub. I wish Laca gave us half his delightful skill. He’s such a joy to watch.
Another game without tubby Hazard. Worst transfer in club history

You're not a very serious footballer when you show up overweight every other summer. He was absolutely disgraceful that season when Mourinho got sacked by Chelsea too (second time), worse than he is now for Real Madrid.

Ansu Fati seriously impressive again. Kid has got lethal accuracy and conversion rate from his finishes.

Atletico doing typical Simeone things.

After putting Granada to the sword in a 6-1 win on the opening game week, they seem to have reverted to type and played two absolutely dour 0-0 games in a row against Villarreal and Huesca.

Beautiful opening goal from Real Madrid in the El Clasico.

Great assist Benzema.

EquaLizer Barcelona. Fati. Great through pass Messi to Alba.

We might have a game on our hands here

Been decent so far. That Barca goal was really made by the Messi pass.

It’s been quite an exciting game so far

What do we think about a bid for Isco in January by the way? Seems to be out of favor under Zidane, and might be able to play in the 8/10 role for us.

Probably will be one of the smartest move we could make

Modric pulling a 1/2 Jay Jay okocha

Was never completely sold on him tbh. Would prefer a creative player with a bit more zip and energy

A few years ago I would've jumped at the chance, but you have to wonder if he hasn't chosen to waste his best years on the bench.

2 years ago was the time.

Isco has also looked sub-par to be honest in last year or so.

would've defo taken Isco during the World Cup year.

Joao Felix unplayable again yesterday against Osasuna. Just cannot stop him when he has the ball. Strong penalty first half. Unlucky to hit the post with second penalty. And then an impressive bullet on the dribble for the second goal. It's one of those quickly hit, fast shots that stay low that only top quality players seem able to pull off.

Also a great goal for our friend Lucas Torreira! He had a great debut, quiet second game, went to the bench. And has now come of the bench with a good goal.

Class goal. Pity we couldn't keep him here

Also got his first international callup.

Looks like he may have chosen to represent USA. (also eligible to play for England, Ghana and Italy)

If I am not wrong Balogun can play for the US too. The US is going to have a good team for the next world cup if they can convince all the talents to play for them

Correct, they have been trying to get him too.

Joao Felix continues his hot run of form by scoring two goals tonight in a 4-0 win against Cadiz.

Now its 7 goals and 3 assists in his 10 games so far this season.

The assist by Torreira wasn't shabby either.

He’s comfortably been the best player in that league this season. Just outstanding.

Seems to have settled in properly finally and filled out physically. He’s going to be a goal machine.

Huge shock on the cards as a struggling Valencia side is beating Real 4-1.

Both of Madrid's center backs have been horrible tonight with Varane continuing his shit form.

Madrid had the better chances early on. But two penalties turned it around despite the constant Madrid pressure. Craziness.

Three penalties and an own goal actually 😆

Having watched the last half an hour still can't say it was undeserved really

Btw, early season Premier League, La Liga and Serie A standings are a mess. Some managers could really be struggling to adapt to coronavirus disruptions to practice and travel
