Suarez is a true winner. Basically the difference between Real and Atleti this season is Suarez. He singlehandedly carried Atleti to the title. Wished we went for him last year, still one of the best out there.

If we signed him from Liverpool we would have been one of the top clubs this decade.

I couldn’t believe half the forum were against signing him.

Such a fun player to watch too.

Haha sheeeet.

Had the A.Madrid game in the background and clearly wasn’t paying enough attention. Oh well, let’s get revenge over Emery instead (if results go our way tomorrow etc).

Marca reporting Ancelotti to Madrid done deal. Madrid rejected Conte.

Eddie Howe to Everton close.

What on earth are Barca doing filling their squad with 30+ year olds? When Messi leaves they are going to disappear into obscurity.

When cash runs out.

Time to cash in on all our young English guys.

Madrid rejected Conte for Ancelotti? Why? These Spanish clubs are horribly run.

Maybe they remember winning Big Ears with him.

@[deleted] You really hate Ancelotti don’t you 😆

😆

I actually like him as a personality and loved his Milan side, I just think his time is up.

I actually think Madrid is one of those teams that Ancelotti can still manage successfully. The players will love his laidback and kind style. It'll probably motivate them enough to win big trophies for a year or two until the lack of demands starts to have a negative impact.

Madrid deemed Conte attitude as not suitable to be their Manager.

I saw Real was looking to hire Luis Campos as their sporting director. That sure would change things!

As per the most recent rumors, Campos has rejected Real Madrid and is headed to Nice instead.

It’s interesting that these famed DoFs like to pick small clubs. They probably feel that the environments give them more opportunity to succeed with their skill sets

Reminds me of us taking Sven Mislintat. I think hiring Sven and Raul at the same time was potentially an identity crisis. We’re we trying to unearth gems like Leicester or just go negotiate with the biggest agents like United? These are two very different clubs with very different operations on a day to day basis. Hopefully, we are clarifying our identity now

Campos is also not as straight forward as you think.

The football leaks guy (who was later jailed) has insinuated that he earns his money at Monaco/Lille by taking a percentage on the capital gain made after selling players he had brought for cheap into the club.

He is also in bed with Mendes/Zahavi who would be paid a percentage on player resales.

I don't know how that model will be entertained at Real Madrid.
