However you feel about AMN, that £20m can go a long way towards a proper signing.

If it helps us get Aouar or Partey, then its the greatest service the boy could’ve given his club. But we have to push for more. And not to Spurs

The question is what RB is available for 20m or less that's as good as AMN. Or are you comfortable with Bellerin and Cedric as the options? Personally I think that if we'd want a RB of the same ability that's young and homegrown we'd need to pay quite a bit more. He seems to have changed his attitude and I'm confident that his value would increase if he's playing regularly this coming season.

I would rather move Cedric on. And 20 million is too low.

I think the team messed up the right back recruiting by making the Cedric decision early. We cannot keep a deep squad at the expense of having a weak first 11. We need to get a magnificent first 11. So if AMN can secure Aouar or Partey, then brilliant. But bad management. It should be AMN/Bellerin or AMN/Cedric at worst.

We really have some idiots in Arsenal if true. Letting our best RB leave for peanuts while keeping 1 who's not at his best after injury and one is who relegation standard at best.

Fullbacks is critical to the way we play.

I agree that we can't keep a deep squad at the expense of a magnificent first 11, but the way I see it selling AMN weakens our first 11 so we should be looking to sell Bellerin. Cedric is probably unsellable.

No one is going to take him off our hands I'm afraid. Southampton had no other interested parties and just wanted Soares off their wage bill when we came in. Apparently they were shocked behind the scenes when we launched the bid.

We'll have to pay him to sit on the bench or in the stands for the next four years now. Raul's reign of terror keeps fucking us over after he's gone.

Either way, selling Maitland-Niles is bullshit, just like signing Willian is bullshit. Both black marks on our transfer business this summer. Going to need way more than Gabriel to make up for this.

Hahahaha.
Look, you have to hope that handing over the reins to Edu/Arteta will result in more coherence going forward. If we can keep the two of them for 3 years, god-willing, with no turmoil around them then maybe we can plan with some sense. This team built by Wenger, Mislintant, Sanllehi and some Stat-DNA guys all pulling in different directions has been a royal waste of time and money. It makes you wonder how Stan got so wealthy

Bellerin/Cedric is fine. It's not amazing and I don't really get the Cedric signing at all, but it'll do for now. We can sort it next summer if need be.

We can talk about which of the three we'd rather sell, and AMN is bottom of the list for me too, but only one of them is going to attract any sort of interest at the fees we're talking about.

You don't think we'd be able to flip Bellerin for £20 million or more?

I think he would attract that sort of fee but personally I can't see any of the top sides coming in for him and I don't think he's going to be all that keen on a step down right now either.

Aye, fair point. I don't think he'd accept going to a club like (just to pull one out of the blue) Everton either, even if they came in with a big bid for him.

The reality is if AMN goes it because he wants out. And if he wants out its probably because he is in a snot about being told to come to training on time. At the end of the day he's not good enough for that sort of shit.

If he wants to go I'm all for selling him, I just hope he isn't pushed out.

Yup seen that mentioned by someone fairly reliable on Twitter. If true a shame but no room for sentiment, sell him to the highest bidder.

Good. Finally some movement from an outgoings perspective. A couple sales and we should be in a good spot to lock Partey down.

We should see things speed up soon, season just 3 weeks away here, Ligue 1 has already started etc.

Wonder how much we can get for Holding. £10m would be decent.

Guendouzi is the one for PSG, staring them in the face. Desperately need that connective thread and ball progression up to middle, final 30 yards of the pitch. Press resistant, versatile passing range. Hopefully we can get a bidding war started between Lyon and PSG for him. Maybe someone like Partey too but hope they don't encroach there obviously.
