22m is pretty darn cheap. Didn't expect that fee
Gabriel
All just nonsense at the moment, everyone is rehashing stories for clicks. When stories start coming out of France from reliable outlets then you'll know something is happening.
So Raul leaves Arsenal, and his former Barcelona colleague at Lille gets suspended for having lied to the finacial overseeing organ of French football, and all of a sudden the transfer fees involved in doing business with them seems more in line with what you'd expect from the market again.
It was always going to be around 20. When was it supposed to be higher? This was the cheaper option.
This sounds like it’s close despite a late push from Napoli, hope we can get him fit by the community shield. Might be a good first outing for him and Saliba.
Yeah Romano confirms it. Napoli is desperate to sign him as Koulibaly's replacement, which pretty much suggest City have him in the bag I guess
If his camp are waiting on Napoli it suggests that he favours a move to Italy over us. No other reason for this to stall over Koulibaly. If he has chosen us and a fee is agreed, this would be done. Seems only one part is and the player still needs convincing.
He’s not waiting on Napoli, by most accounts Napoli have an agreement with Lille too.
Hopefully just trying to get as good personal terms as possible.
If he is coming from France won’t he have to quarantine for 14 days meaning he would miss the Charity Shield.
Rauls departure might have slowed down things down by a few days. Lots of moving parts at play

Reliable Twitter accounts saying 70m Euro deal agree for Koulibaly with City. So that would fit in with Napoli trying hard to try and convince him.
Would be a shame to see Koulibaly at City. Didn't seem to want to leave, probably de Laurentiis who's behind this
He’s just turned 29, De Laurentiis know this is the last chance they’ll get if they want to sell for big money.
Koulibaly is the most overrated CB in world football
Look who's watched Champions league a couple of weeks ago
koulibaly is decent but city are mad for going for him.
He'll be 30 in 6 months.
But until then he remains 29, that's how it works.
He's 30 in 6 months. He's 30.
Which is practically 31
