Mirth not quite. As Sicario pointed out you can get into that without winning anything, as we have done, so there's probably a bit more prestige in the Super Cup. Perhaps a bit more like the Cup winners Cup and we counted that as a thing (we finished 10th when we won the cup that got you into that so not all that dissimilar).
I know we'll say it doesn't count and turn our noses up at it etc, but I'd still like us to be in it one day. And I'd rather win it than not if we were in it. If they win they'll call themselves European Champions, rightly or wrongly. Anyway point was they are taking pre-season seriously because they have another final coming up next week.
