1 good 1 bad from tonight
1 good: another year, another trophyless season. Piles pressure on Conte.
1 bad: less fixture congestion and like us, only have top 4 to aim for.
It’s Spurs. They’d bottle a top 4 finish if it came to it.
Good to see they bottled it.
Balogun missed a good chance after getting subbed on I read.
With Spurs and United this season, we get a lot more from pervasive misery and Conte and Rangnick brittle and unsettled than we do from fixture congestion.

Got a source for that? I thought Emerson just picked them over us.
C'mon qs, it's been widely reported. And even so, why do you actively want to assume the worst of Arsenal? Players don't choose them over us.
It was the Athletic who reported that.
Just found this old Tone post 😆

Love it. Trying not to get ahead of myself but we could put one of the final nails in the coffin for Spurs and their intentions to retain Conte and Kane in two weeks. Would be immense.

😂 The fuck?
Pepe LeFrits 🤣
Lulz. It's gonna be him versus Antony for "least efficiently branded Brazilian" in the Prem for the next few years
I love it when they get like this:
"No, but then I don’t think Sir Alex or Clough could turn us around either, we are cursed, our kit is footballer kryptonite.
It’s not that Conte isn’t a great manager, or that we won’t back him, it’s that it’s Spurs(y)."

The self loathing Spurs fan has been sorely missed😆
There was no reason Spurs couldn't be in a better place, but Levy went for the wrong managers. Fell into the AAStyle trap of wanting 'elite/winning managers' with a good CV rather than the right fit for a club like theirs, i.e. managers who were willing to take on a long term project and have the patience (and vision) to build a squad.

Love how nearly every single day there's some feature on Conte that says "wow he is the toughest, hardest, grittiest man alive, but gee he's got a hard job and things have been so hard for the poor, poor duckling" … when what's actually happening is he constantly briefs journalists about how miserable and mistreated he is.
Very glad this guy never came anywhere near Arsenal.
Poor man's Mourinho.
Would hate hearing him constantly moan all well knowing he's as likely to bugger off each season as to commit to a project.
Occasionally think about how they'd write about Wenger, Arsène had plenty of flaws but would never carry on in this manner.
One of the vowels in Conte's name should be altered to better match his persona (and it's not the 'e')
Those who can, manage. Those who Conte …
