Conte already asking for patience.
He’s in a win win situation. If he is able to turn them into a top four team within two years then he’s confirmed as a genius.
If not, Err, but Tottenham, ez ze history of ze Tottenham.
the circle will be complete if he fails to turn them around, citing reasons 'eets dee istory ovva d'tottenam'
In both cases I'd think it would be more about 'the history of the Totteringham'.
😆
Mourinho said the same, he thought he inherited a great crop of players with young talents. Turned out he realised it was Pochettino doing magic and players were overrated
Not so much of a laughing matter as they have overtaken us in terms of commercial, broadcasting and match day revenue.
Thats because they were in the CL that year.

I expect to see a ticket price increase when we get back into UEFA comps.
The fact that we trailing on commercial revenue is a concern.
It's been this way for a while. Commercial revenue would be hugely bolstered by success on the pitch. The enthusiasm around the side in December, from the pundits as well as the support, was a taste of what it would be like if this young side was mounting a title challenge.
Conte whinging and moaning and making excuses is so gratifying.
Enjoying his bitching too but for very different reasons, seems like he's only joined Spurs to shit on them.
I wonder if it's Conte who was just stupid and joined them after having previously rejected them for this exact reason or if Spurs have made him promises they didn't intend on keeping.
He probably couldn't resist the salary they're paying him. If he can get them up and running he's a genius, if he fails it's because the squad is shit and Levy is a tight prick.
I mean look at this
getting paid millions of bucks to publicly call spurs rubbish every few days is a dream gig. he's got it made
This is exactly why I never really wanted him at Arsenal. Would not have lasted long here either before all the drama starts. Obviously a great coach but never a great fit for a club like Spurs or even Arsenal. I think he would have hated it at Utd too.
Same. Brilliant coach and I think he'd have been perfect for United or Chelsea, but Spurs are very much operating under the same model as us, weird how they keep going for guys like Conte and Jose but I'm here for it.

Oh god yeah imagine having a manager who caused drama ;D
