Amorim joined Sporting when they were fifth shortly after Fernandes left. He then won the league in his first full season against two teams with clearly superior squads and two managers who have several league wins on their CVs, Jorge Jesus even went to South America and became the best manager there in no time. Postecoglu might be promising but so far at least I don't see him as one of the biggest managing prospects around. He might change that at Celtic and so far sure looks like he'll be doing that.
Postecoglu has won an international tournament with a national team, whereas the UCL this season is Amorim's 1st foray outside domestic football.
I'd probably rate Postecoglu's CV higher than Potter for much the same reasons.
That said with our current brains trust I'd expect to see Martinez considering he was on the previous list of candidates IIRC.
