I mean, Odegaard on form is one of the top 10-15 players in the PL. So regardless of who is coming up through the youth system, we keep him, unless someone offers us enough money that we can get either Isak or Wirtz plus one other nailed on starter with change in our pocket.

Dowman looks pretty insane. Born on New Year's Eve 2009 so he is still not even 15 and a half.

He keeps doing this nonsense at U18 level and if anyone says you can't read much into it, I will agree.

But then Dowman also started turning out for the U21s late last year, when he was still 14. So he has already played in PL2.

You would think he couldn't feature with the first team squad much until 26–27, but he might get a run out at some stage and will probably be training with the seniors too.

When you think of guys like Nelson and Sancho. They were amazing at 15, still great at 18. But had flamed out by 21/22.

Looks like an exciting YOUNG talent, but we have had tons of really great and productive young talents that killed it in the youth teams only to fizzle out once they start playing against men. The kids' body hasnt even fully developed yet, so while he looks head over heels above others in the younger age group, the expectations should be lowered severely for now, at least for the next year or year and a half. My guess is that he will get on the bench a bit next season but won't feature much, if at all.
