Patino seems to have a resilient, adaptable mentality, bodes well for him. He'll need to be quite a bit larger to play a midfield role in the league, the one time he got minutes he was waiflike next to his opponents.

Meanwhile what with Smith Rowe, Cozier-Duberry and Lewis-Skelly one starts to wonder if we're prioritising youth talents with bilateral surnames.

I would hope to see Patino in the Prem next season, but it could also feasibly be as a loan player at another club. He does look very talented so good luck to him.

For anyone interested, Wilshere's under 18s are playing City U18s in the FA youth cup live on Arsenal player right now.

City are down to 10 men and Rosiak has just scored the resulting freekick to put us up 1-0.

In the build up to the move that resulted in Samuel getting sent off, Cozier-Dubery was brilliant. Reminds me so much of Saka.

i started watching the game from the 25' on and it just finished with us winning in stoppage time of the extra time (121'). we did not look good at all. attackers were absolute shit, city looked better than them with 10 men for most of the game.

Yeah, been impressed with him every time I've seen him. Kinda going under the radar a bit when being looked at next to some of the flashier guys but he looks really interesting.

Tbf you see that a lot in youth team football but you’d expect more from supposedly one of our biggest youth team talents.

Not been that impressed by him relative to the hype but he’s only 16 I guess.
