Come on now.
Yeah, to be clear my point earlier wasn’t ‘woe is me who would want to join us’ in nature. We’ve got plenty going for us. But for a high profile and very young player like him, who’s looking for a stepping stone, I do think we wouldn’t be the smart choice.
On the other hand, he could earn big money here and would already be at a big if faltering club. So it’s certainly not out of the realms of possibly that he chooses us.
How many have gone from playing for Leicerster / Everton / RB to Real / Barca etc. If he wants to use a club as a stepping stone to the big clubs he should join Pool, Spurs, Arsenal or Dortmund.
Out of those clubs we seem to be the only serious interested party.

Players are just like you and me. 10 years ago tech kids wanted to go work at Cisco. Tons of innovation. Nobody cared about Netflix. Roles reversed today. Everybody wants to go to the streamer because they own the future. I honestly do not see a path for Arsenal to own the future, and I am sure players sense the same thing looking at our play, our backroom chaos, the stories shared about about our transfer hijinks, and our 10 year league position trajectory. It's not a pretty picture. Why would you want to join other than the promise of a check?

To be fair since Song nobody has stepped up from here to Barca/Real too
We can still con people into coming here, clearly. We were able to nab partey, auba and coveted young players like saliba and gabriel despite the club being at relatively low ebb. History, london, epl allure and money are still all big factor. That cache might lose potency if we don't turn things around within the next 5 years or so

Location, location, location.
Does Inner London still hold the highest gross income per capita in the EU?
As expected, he has chosen to join Leipzig. Sporting ambitions wise makes perfect sense for him
We will be fine. It's time to back ESR, Balogun and Nelson. One of these boys will come good along with Martlinelli and Saka.
Or let’s save Aouar!
Seems we didn’t even seriously try for Szobo according to Bell.
Romano say we did, he rejected both Milan and us.
This kid is a pussy and went for the easy option.
Fuck him.
Why should he not?

leipzig is better than us right now. so a promising young player should join a dysfunctional team with a fickle manager who can turn on you in a sec and say fuck your career?
UCL Semi finalists, challenge for title every year these days under a young talented manager. Can't say he didn't make the right choice
I’d also go to Leipzig. It’s a no brainer. They’ve probably also outlined a clear development plan to him. He’s in a critical career stage. Can’t afford to fuck around. This is where he goes from £25m to £60m player. When last did we create that hype for a player?
