Reguilon is a good signing and will be an improvement on Davies. Bale if they get him working again could be an inspired signing as well. I expect Mourinho to play him at 10 in the Dele Alli role just behind Kane.

The signing of Bale will also bring a feel good factor back to the club and give them the boost they need as things were getting a little stale before.

Bale is a top player but he’s not the force he was and the Premier League has changed a lot since he was last here.

It is more likely insane, but there is also the small chance that the true Bale is still in there somewhere. If that guy shows up and stays fit...well he is one of the best players in the world and well worth the money. But it's a huge IF, as that guy has not been seen for years now.

Risky move for spurs. If he was coming back under pochs management id be a bit more worried, as i think he could have rehabilitated his form. Jose doesnt seem like the rehabilitating type, he would expect him to come in and hit the ground immediately

Big signing for Liverpool imo, they've looked a bit off since the restart but hard to gauge as they had the title won by then.

It's a good signing, can't help but think they really should be using their success to really cement their position at the top though. For a team who've been CL runners up, CL winners and now League winners across the last 3 seasons they've barely spent anything.

Hearing £20m confirmed + bonus payments, got him for a very good price. Think he will massively improve their play though the middle. At the moment the midfield seems to be a lot of hustle and get it out wide to the fullbacks. Has worked well for them but probably need a bit more variation to stay at that level.

They are a tightly run club and their squad is relatively young. I reckon one of Salah/Mane will be off next summer for big money and they'll reinvest that. To be fair to the owners they have invested in the stadium as well.

Pool went through an investment super cycle. It’s been quite obvious that’s what they were doing given their spend relative to their revenue. And Swiss Ramble confirmed as much in his analysis last week. They’re low on cash right now. They bought a ton of really expensive players simultaneously and also made some hefty extensions. They’ve stretched themselves. The Thiago signing is the ownership going all in on sweating the assets they have to win a few more trophies now.

And Thiago + Fabinho makes me drool. That’s grown man midfield right there.

Haven't read up Swiss Ramble, but I find that amazing given how much prize money they'd have received over the last 2-3 years. Even their investment cycle wasn't super ambitious when you consider how much they received for Coutinho.

I don't think it's enough personally. They looked stale long before they won the title, lot of close games, ground out wins etc. Think they should have gone in harder for Werner.

Good signing from the perspective of going all in with the current group. Scoop up as many trophies as possible in a 2-3 year window, worry about a rebuild later

The shape of their income statement changed completely. Remember they booked a one-time profit on Coutinho. But after that, they had this massively inflated wage expensive plus all this much larger capital expense from buying all these players so close together. That should ease in a year or 2 as they start to go into extensions. Plus stadium expenses as well. All of that quickly wipes out your new revenues.

After pulling out of the Reguillon deal, Manchester United seem to have turned their attentions to Alex Telles of Porto.

His contract is running out in summer of 2021 and Porto are seemingly willing to sell for 20 million.

A very good wing back who should offer considerable improvement to Luke Shaw offensively but I have some question marks over his defensive capabilities.

Don't rate Alex Telles. Good in attack but average defensively.

Reguilon is much better, I suspect if he don't turn out to be Moreno 2 Madrid will activate buy back clause within 2-3 seasons

Crystal Palace have agreed to sell Norwegian Striker Alexander Sorloth to RB Leipzig for 20 million £.

They will evenly split the transfer fee with Trabzonspor, who had an obligation to buy Sorloth this summer.

Palace are rumored to reinvest the cash towards signing Said Benrahma. It is unclear if the Algerian is to replace Zaha or to supplement him.
