He might not be the dribbler Aouar is, but he's better at just about everything else in no small part due to his physical attributes. Gives him a real edge.
He's a 6/8 though, while Aouar is an 8/10. vdBeek usually plays more like Ceballos under Arteta, but with a real knack for breaking through the lines and popping up in the final third at the right time. He's got a great mix of skill, power, and an eye for a pass. The way he plays makes space, for himself and others.
