When I look at the squad and see Leno, Tierney, Partey and Aubameyang then I see 4 players who would get into most post-CL final Wenger teams, and who will be around for the next 3 years. Add to that the youthful potential of Saka, Martinelli, Saliba (if he's as good as they say) and Gabriel to build off. On top of that, you then have players like Pepe and Bellerin who, despite not always being at it, have good quality to work with and are coming into their peak years. With all of that, I see a good crux of players to build a good squad around. It certainly has some real holes but am I wrong to be as hopeful as this when I step back and have a look at what we've got?
