Definitely. His movement is really good and he's just in the box when he should be which is something we've missed.

I'll also say if he doesn't get that offside goal there is zero chance we'd get the penalty.

Fuck the refs, being forced to give us a decision even when usually they'd just do their best to deny us.

Was ok today (should have scored) and apparently very good on Wed (only saw the highlights).

He’s got 5 games to really showcase his abilities as I still don’t rate him high enough to play for us. But 5 cup finals let’s see what he can do to remain a squad player.

At least he is not playing passive as he was a few times he came on as a sub recently (Villa away springs to mind). He’s got to be assertive and take his chances.

He has an offer on the table doesn't he? I'd keep him as back up if we could and it meant getting a top first choice player but I really can't blame Eddie for not wanting to stay, he's at a stage in his career where he can't just sit on the bench for 3/4s of the season again. If he keeps doing well for us in the run in he'll surely have PL sides offering a big bag of money and the promise of being their starting striker.

Another good game. Few dodgy touches aside thought he played really well. If he’d scored a goal it would’ve been one of his best for us. Relieved a lot of pressure with his running on the ball and movement off it.

Been a bit of a game changer for us. I’ll have fond memories of him if he keeps it going and helps us get fourth. Wouldn’t be upset with him getting a new contract if it didn’t stop us signing two forwards. Don’t think he’d accept that though, which is fair enough.

It's a win-win.

He gets a shop window and the club (hopefully) get's CL.

Done well but let's be honest he's not the level we need as a first choice or backup if we want to progress.

He's definitely shown he's up to it in recent games. Don't think he should be our first choice but even if he takes a short contract worth trying to keep him. Would mean one less player to sign this summer.

IMO he's not the type of CF option as planB if we're looking to sign the likes of Lautaro/Jesus/David as it would be too much of the same and more so if we also include Martinelli.
That said if we sign a tall CF such as the likes of Haaland/Schick/Nunez/De Ketelaere/DCL etc then he provides something different.

Really don't know why you needed to have an agenda against him in the first place especially as he was a nothing squad player at that time that played well in his first start and you didn't even watch it ffs.

Young player getting better with minutes. It's not a surprise. He will be a Premier League forward, if not here, then elsewhere. He is worth very decent money that we will be missing out on.

It is not just goals though, his overall involvement through the 90 has improved a lot with minutes. He hasn't even reached his physical potential yet.

He was bullying their defense, dropping deep, pressing, playing smart balls and getting into dangerous positions in the first half. He was a bit invisible in the 2nd half, but I don't blame him for that.

Just keep Eddie instead of bothering with Jesus. He's showing exactly why he should have had Lacazette's place all season.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

This guy has really come on. Very pleased with his intelligent all round game in addition to his goals.

Bit of a conundrum though. We need a top level proven striker but Eddie makes for an amazing second choice and who knows, he could compete and eventually win out. Would he accept that though?
