Honestly. We are not going to sort our midfield out this summer. It is what it is.. On that basis we should be sticking to the current formation and bringing in striker who has quality link up play may provide the best net gain this current squad can get..

He isn’t fast but he’s agile and knows how to disrupt the opposition. He’d go along way to sorting out our possession play and ability to dictate the shape of play. Also if Xhaka goes down or is suspended at any point of the season we’d be in a tricky spot

We are a sad ting but we aren’t exactly shopping with a black card like they are. It’s not like we can both just walk up to Atletico and put the money down for Partey. They likely could. We probably don’t have £50m sitting around.

Jorginho would be an upgrade on Xhaka, but we’d still be desperately in need of a 3rd midfielder to complement him and Ceballos. Partey to Chelsea would just bring memories of another talented Ghanaian I craved - Essien
