I worry that our execs are clueless noon football people so backing a manager from them isn't s great endorsement. I also think they have a lot of pride that they took this brave decision and will look totally foolish is it doesn't come off so they are desperate to stick with it as long as they can.
For me what we have now isn't really different from Emery's time. That's what I don't get lots of the media ridiculed him the team look clueless but now well the players are crap. They were just add crap for Emery but that was not used to explain it away.
I also remember chat like Arsenal can't go around spending money so that's why we can't go down the top coach route. Now a few of the Arsenal centric journos seem to be saying he needs big financial backing, right why couldn't we do that before then.
The reality for me is the team has been the same as always we never created lots of chances with Artet just had a forward in exceptional form that glisset over that. Now he's in poor form you see we have nothing else and the defence isn't really that great. All we've done is put an inflexible structure in that means we have more bodies in positions which makes it harder for any team but at still give away tons of good chances so to me it's not a defensive indicator.
