City are spending more but their revenue is on another level to ours too, ignoring their artificial commercial income they make bank by winning the league every season, going far in the CL and they even sell much better than we do for a couple years now. Obviously they got to where they are by spending massively early on but can't see a difference between what we've been doing in recent years to what they did in the past.
Can't blame the Kroenkes for starting to spend, they're definitely not bad owners in that regard but they make ridiculous personnel decisions, they tried to get us into the ESL and apparently still have plans for the future and they're obviously billionaire scum in general.
