we're ending the dry run chaps. come on arsenal!

Gazza! That's the slap up wishlist meal of a seasoned jazz musician ๐Ÿ˜ƒ (it would be delicious though)

I'm all about Bellerin for this next game. Really want to see him come into form.

Bin Emery if we can't win this. Basically the next few matches will be a series of excuses to bin Emery.

Gazza, is that serving of deliciousness Emeryโ€™s last meal request?

Of course he will find every way to play anything but this

I mean if we can't win this then there really is no hope.

Never mind winning this, I expect a comprehensive performance. Southampton really are at a low ebb.

And we all know what that means when it comes to our charity.

Oh we'll something arlight

We will win this, but it won't solve our problems or make us top 4 contenders under Emery. Just delaying the inevitable.

I'm not so sure we'll win this. We have the 5th worst form in Premier League over the last 5 games, and it's just as bad looking at the last 10.

It feels like a typical fixture where they come to our place with nothing to lose, we end up giving them too much space to play in, and they throw players forward and get a goal or two.

I think we'll manage an unconvincing 2-1 win. Pepe to save us at the 79th minute after they've equalized.

We will be outshot and outperformed on xG. The Auba/Laca drought to continue as well.

Shane Long to have his only good game of the season and humiliate David Luiz for the winning goal.

You just know we're in for some shit like that. Luiz miskicking the ball in the 88th minute so it flies up into the air and lands on Long's forehead, and Sokratis doesn't challenge for it.

They led and frustrated City for 70 minutes and lost only to a very late winner. Not an easy game with our defence.

I'll be surprised but pleased if Emery does indeed play all of Laca, Auba, Pepe and Ozil from the start.

He seems too conservative to do that though - hope I'm wrong.

They have 8 points this season, have conceded 29 goals, they sit in 19th place and have lost 4 in the last 5, surely we won't fuck it up, right? But then again, Watford are just as worse and got a point off us.

I'm pessimistic about this or any other game atm and any good performance would be unexpected.
ATM I have little to ne desire to watch any games whilst the status quo remains.
If Xhaka is selected I'd expect him to have a target on his back to put pressure on him to make him crack and the fans to get on his case again.

He won't be selected. By the sound of it he has made it clear to the club that he doesn't intend to play any more and wants to be transferred in January.

Granted, he can still be included in the squad on paper, but picking a player who doesn't show up is yet another embarrassment that I'm sure both Emery and the club feel they can do without right now.
