Why did we let Gnabry go ffs.
Champions League 19/20
that's why i don't really miss the champions league like that. those last 5 or so years in the champions league with the previous manager was just too embarrassing. i kinda like expecting to win in the europa.
Oh Spurs
Alderweireld skipped his 30s and went straight to late 40s

Another team reminds us how we mucked about against a rubbish opponent. This season!

because he was smart enough to be sick of arsenal's bullshit youth development in the latter years and said fuck your contract offer i want a real career.
3 games won from 10 for Spurs, topped off with a humiliation. Wonder what bottle they show from here on.
EDIT: They might not get a single win this month.

It didn’t work out. Let’s move on. We have Saka.
One more would be great

He left, we didn’t let him go.
You’ll all deny it now but before his U20 World Cup performances I was one of the few still backing him. If there’s a lesson to be learnt it’s not to write these young guys off after a difficult spell.
Gnabry looks terrific. Though I doubt he'd be as good if he stayed here.
lol champions league nights at the lane
Ha, good job Serge. Proud of you.
Who is this Gnabry?
you just know gnabry is finding this especially sweet at their toilet bowl. we might have been shit at bringing through young players in the latter years, but we were damn good at instilling a hatred of tottnumb.
Gnabry's class was obvious when we had him
Why the fuck did he we send him to Tony Pulis of all people on loan ?
mentalvortex wrote:Why the fuck did he we send him to Tony Pulis of all people on loan ?
because that's what you do when you don't have much hope for a player anymore. no one sends a young player they think will be the dog's bollocks to tony pulis.
Spurs are just a pure banter club
Just saw the Spurs result
Lovely banner, just needed a solo frame of Gnabry cooking
Conceding four is a riot. Seven is an obliteration.
Should've been 1-8 with anything resembling sane refs
Never enjoyed a Bayern win in my life nearly as much as this. Gnabry should be doing this for us now, what an absurd performance
I'm hearing Bayern will write a book about this one.
sergegnabry Verified North London is RED!!
i guess bayern will never get over chelsea winning the champions league against them on their own patch. they're fucking up any london team they come across.
Can't believe we let Tony Pulis mentor Gnabry ffs

those stars and now that european cup winners patch means something. it's why liverpool can get it done regardless and a team like man city fail. why we fail. those players know what the standards are when they see that kit.

Lucky Spurs.

They’re making mugs to go with it as well.

What a bizarre team. I saw the slide tackle. Could’ve injured the kid.
Gnabry apparently has as many goals on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Harry Kane.

My jinx worked :egg:
Enjoyed watching that more than any Arsenal game this season. Bayern were ruthlessly magnificent, Spurs embarrassingly poor. Mixed emotions with Gnabry; absolutely brilliant watching him dismantle them as a former gooner, but also sad that we let him go with him flourishing the way he is now. I see a lot of Arsenal fans bemoaning it now but it’s just one of those things that happen in football; you can’t keep them all. We just have to live with it. I still remember us letting Andrew Cole go only for him to end up England’s first choice striker and a goal machine for Man Utd.

Exactly. Nelson for example is going through a rough spell right now with his confidence low and fans are being impatient with him already. He could end up at Liverpool or somewhere similar and excel then you’ll have everyone bashing the club for letting him go.

To be fair there were plenty here excited after the olympics performance.
Not much fuss was given when he left sadly. Some think he wasn't fit to lace Ox boots and won't even make it at Werder, others given up after his West Brom loan saying he is a nothing player. Good to see him making a great career now, one of the best wingers in the world.
Meanwhile Spurs achieved a record defeat by an English club in a European competition
Loved the kid since I've seen him for Germany's U16. Had a ridiculous shot on him back then already, I remember a game we lost on Carrow Road in like 2012 which was the worst I've ever seen in my 20+ years of watching Arsenal. Cazorla started to burn out and Gnabrys cameo was literally the only thing worth looking forward to.
Pick of the bunch yesterday was his third, takes Thiagos 60+ yard ball from behind him perfectly in his stride without losing a step, second touch gets it away from Alderweireld and the third has Lloris on his arse.
Imagine Ox in that situation. First touch would've been on his clueless head like in a cartoon, second touch would've made him and everyone watching consider a different sport and if there even were a third touch it would've unravelled his ACL or whatever's left of it
