That defending from Robertson on Felix.
Champions League 19/20
Just turned on the match, but why on earth are there spectators in the stadium? Will this actually be allowed in the PL as well? Sounds crazy to me.
God. I thought that was in. It felt like a goal the whole move.
Phew Atletico survived there massively. Don't think they can survive this tie though they are tiring

The suits at Uefa have been arguing all week about what to do about matches. Because, you know, money is far important than the well-being of the species

They are vastly inferior. This feels like a containment strategy designed by Trump
How are Pool keeping up this intensity for 70 mins straight.

Sure UEFA only care about money, nothing new there, but what about the English government? In Norway it's not allowed to have events with more than 500 people now, while at Anfield we have 55 000 people sitting together in a stadium. Ridiculous.

I think they ramped down for February. And are maybe ramping up again. They looked sluggish recently.
Atletico is actually playing for penalties.
Partey looks class. Great composure.
Ox passes to the ghosts of Anfield legends gone by. I don't miss this guy
Liverpool have just dropped a bit in the past 4 or 5 minutes. Come on Atletico, make it count!
Liverpool are all over them, but if Atletico score a lucky goal then they are in big trouble.

What annoys me is that everyone talks about how much he improved when he left us. He really hasn't. He always had decent spells in between his injuries, but they happen too often and his physicality is still not enough to compensate for his lack of football intelligence.
The tide has defonitely turned in this game.
Thomas is absolutely brilliant CM. Tough, amazing first touch, calm on the ball
Partey is like Song with pace.

This is the profile of player we need in midfield.
Now compare this to Xhaka, Torreira, Willock, Guendouzi, etc. I have no doubt that we need to dump a bunch of these guys for a Thomas.

On the flip side, Thomas played Spanish second tier football when he was as old as Willock and Guendouzi.
