Agreed on all points mags. The only thing I can think of with Willock is that we try to protect him a little bit to prevent a burn-out, but you have to wonder why we didn't decide to give him a rest against Watford next weekend instead. We needed his skillset today and I think there would have been a better opportunity to get three points with him on the pitch.

Xhaka, Luiz and Mkhi were shit Pepe well I expect more from 72m given his chances at Liverpool too but willing to give time Torreira was below par with this more advanced role Auba and Douzi were good Laca can sometimes finish well but sometimes can't sort his feet out at all

Disagree with this. I feel like we kept seeing this kind of performance last season. Remember the 1-1 at the DeathStar. Another one we should’ve won, but we are too easily penetrated. Until this team builds some defensive solidity I just cannot trust them to consistently deliver results. So the team might have potential to be better but based on what they keep doing, this is their level.
I think over the season we'll see Chambers, Holding, Willock, Nelson, etc take over from the dodgy old geezers like sok, Bob, Xhaka, Mhki, etc

Joke defending on the first goal though. First Sokratis pushes up needlessly to challenge for a high ball in midfield, and when he loses the duel Luiz decides to step up too instead of falling back. Can't have two idiots like that in your defence at the same time. Chambers in for one of them against Watford.

People praising Lacazette's "guts". I would argue that if he had a first touch and the ball didn't keep bouncing off his ankles, we might have had a shot on target before going 2-0 down.

Ozil should've come on when Laca got injured. No way is he fucking up every attack like Mkhi managed. Even his only decent pass, the reverse ball to Kolasinac, was fraction too late so Kola was offside.
