I would have also said that Pepe should move the ball on quicker. He always does this thing where he stops the ball and tries to size up his opponent rather than let it roll across him

Doozy MotM, Auba close second.

There were many good performances that second half which only served to highlight the stink that Xhaka and Miki were serving.
Pepe was poor too but at least helped progress the ball.

Yeah, another disappointing performance when the space wasn't there. He'll learn though. Don't think he had earned a sub appearance based on last week but I could see the sense in putting him on.

Mkhi was a bloody shocking sub on the other hand, though. What has that spanner ever done in his entire career to make anyone think he can play football, let alone in an Arsenal shirt? Talk about a wasted opportunity

leno had a good save to make up for spilling the ball for the first. amn was actually pretty steady all game for once. sok had his stupid moments but still good. luiz was good. kola was rusty as heck, his crosses were shocking and literally didn't have to defend all game. douzi was great. xhaka was shocking, some nice hard passes here and there but shocking overall. tor was average at best. ceb was good for like 10 minutes when he came on. micky was shockingly useless. pepe was all flash and no end result, terrible game imo, very gervinho-like... auba was good. laca was all heart.

that was a disheartening game, we definitely and surely should've beat them. that second half pressure was immense and the atmosphere was fantastic, great game for the neutral's i imagine. shits fans probably feel like they got away with robbery with that point...

Agreed on both points. The thing with Lacazette is I always feel we would have more structure and flow without him on, then all of a sudden he bangs in a world class goal just like today. A tough player to know what to do with.

honestly we would've won if laca stayed on or someone other than micky came on. emery literally killed us with that sub, even tho i know laca was injured/flared up. he was still better than micky with half a leg...

Team is much better than that score shows.
Defense let us down on that first goal.
Was not happy with Emery and 1st team selection.
where was Willock?
What did he do during the week that warranted the bench?
Only pure guts from Laca saved the team and made a difference, since the manager is confused.
The front line is very good, but no service from mids.

Pluses: Douzi in the 2nd half. Aube, classic striker.
Pepe is young, needs ripening. He will be okay.
Ceballos needs the weight room.

so much better. micky must bring emery a tub of gel everyday for his hair, that's why he still gets minutes...

a boulder would've been better on the wing than him. at least the players would know not to pass to it, he screwed up so much

Guendouzi only started performing when we had a player who could hold onto the ball, Ceballos.
He and Xhaka gave Eriksen and Son full freedom to carry the ball through the centre all first half.
His strength and athleticism is below par as clearly illustrated by Sisoko easily winning the ball then proceding to hold off his multiple challenges while running 40 or 50 yards from their half into our penalty box late in the game.
