Some (not major) points I didn't see mentioned, and just a few worth repeating:
We are now the better team. This was not a great game for us, and we made our own lives very difficult - but there was only one conclusion after the game: they got away with it, we really should have won - and there's so much room for improvement on our side. That should change the negativity felt during and right after the game to a more positive view.
The difference between the two halves was staggering. But if so for the whole team, even moreso for one player - Doozi. I agree he was our best player in the second half, but few (if any) mentioned how pale he was in the first. Mere coincidence? I think not (though of course this was not the whole story). If he's second half Doozi more consistently (and Ceballos plays!), this will be very good news for us.
Luiz... I know, I hated him as well before he came here. But has to be said: there are positives (do they offset the negatives, like pool? dunno. But there were some here).
Pepe will be fine. I'm not worried at all.
I still think Emery got it wrong. We'd have done better going at them with someone passing, releasing the 3 guys in front.
I think he gets it wrong on too many things in general (though I'm not all out against him. Just tend to think he's ... limited).
Were still tempted too many times to commit forward (Sokratis, WTF?) and gift chances that exploit our poor defending in transition. We should stop that, it's stupid and not too hard to fix.
