Guendouzi is certainly ahead of where Ndombele was at 19/20 years of age. We'll have to see how he develops, but he's certainly precocious.
As far as midfield prospects go, I don't think he gets anything like the recognition he deserves. What he did last season was extraordinary. Yet, I have seen some posters here (I'll keep it anonymous!) group him with Xhaka, and talk about him with that same disdain.
He's one of the biggest midfield talents in world football. And he is, and was last season, one of the better midfielders in the Premier League, in my opinion. Imagine if you saw this big haired, big personality, Frenchman strutting around in United, Tottenham, City or Liverpool's midfield, bossing games at 19 years of age? The praise he would get from Arsenal fans generally, and on here, would be relentless.
