I think it's his orientation (when I say he got the points of reference wrong), as he didn't hesitate to raise the flag as seen as PEA took a touch.

Whatever the reason(including general incompetence) it's a BIG win for VAR and the principle of 'clear and obvious errors' (as opposed to determining a player to be a hair's breadth offside that is unable to be determined by the naked eye).

Pretty much. He got caught ball watching, it's obvious when you watch how late the flag goes up.

They do a lot of training to get where they are. You find some of the refs will be a lino a division above and a ref a division or 2 down. When they start gong professional their performance is reviewed a number of times a season live by another ref and each manager rates the ref after the game. Once they start refing televised games their performance is rated that way.
They have to get to a certain level before they go up. Everything is heavily monitored and theirs a lot of training involved. These guys are all absolutely desperate to get to the top level for the big bucks. It's an easy life, great wage and you work F all if you get to the top compared to other jobs.

Looks more like some hybrid indoor football to me, goals are too big for futsal. Massive talent anyway

I'm no expert on futsal so will take your word on it. Reason I guessed that was his unusual dribbling technique.
By rejecting the advances of prodigy killers Real Madrid and Man Utd, he has made the right choice but they will return if he shines.

Futsal use handball goals. Not an expert either but I've played indoor football and those are the standard goals

Eriksen linked to Inter now. I’m sure this isn’t what he imagined when he ran his contract down. £20m would be a bitter pill for Levy.

Is he getting that interest from those better clubs? Note that they can already sign him for free now as Juve did with Ramsey. Maybe he can replace David Silva next year which would require him to wait til summer.

Yeah I think Inter is as good as it gets for him. He's a good player but not top tier. He could go to Real Madrid for free I suppose and waste his last two peak years on the bench, but really, what's the point? So you can say that you played for Real?

At the same time you wonder why City would go for Eriksen when there are players like Maddison in the league who are better and younger and English though. Money is not an issue for them so the fact that he's free probably doesn't have the same appeal as it does for second tier clubs. I bet they'll take him but I think the situation would be similar to Real.

Eriksen is prime age for a top club to come in for him and I think he's better than you're giving him credit for. His forms dropped this season but he's clearly not happy at Spurs. He'd could easily start for a lot of better clubs than Inter.
