We'll cope. Last summer we had just lost Boateng Mascarell Wolf Hradecky and most importantly Kovac, that was our entire spine and we got like 10m for the lot of them. We started the season with Haller who had a horrible end to the season and Jovic who looked promising but little more plus a new coach whose credentials came from Switzerland and Austria

We now have a spine that has played together for a while already plus up front Paciencia who looks a lot better than Haller at the start of last season, Bas Dost who's ugly but guaranteed goals and might end up hopefully a great plan B plus now Silva. Seeing how other failed talents turned out here like Rebic Jovic or Kostic I'm pretty confident he can come back on track here with his former strike partner Paciencia.

Lastly I suspect the next big sale at the end of this season will be Kostic. He was incredible last season already with 10 goals and 13 assists from wing back (!) with Kante levels of stamina but this season he added even more to his game, scored some corkers from 30+ yards already and looks like he can play almost any position now. The club already rejected more than 40m this summer, he's an insane athlete class on the ball with ridiculous work rate he can genuinely go for double that. Hope Arsenal keep tabs on him, if he goes to anyone else in England we'll regret it.

Icardi to PSG on loan with an option to buy. Low risk and could be a great move to replace Cavani who's injured pretty often these days, could be a complete disaster if the trouble by Icardi and his agent continues to fester

Yeah, they have dealt with Rabiot's Mom, Neymar's dad and entourage, and now will deal with Icardashians.

Bayern vs. PSG should be something, Perisic and Icardi absolutely hate each other after what happened last year.

Oh, yeah, Wanda went on TV and called Perisic out for not creating for her husband.
I cannot for the life of me imagine why Leonardo would go from dealing with Neymar Sr and having just dispensed of Rabiot's mum to entertaining Wanda. He must be a masochist

While there is an option to buy, there isn't much to deal with until they buy him, is there? As long as it's a loan Wanda should be irrelevant as they can just let him go after the season.

Anyone have any insight into what’s happening with Upamecano’s ankle? He hasn’t featured at all as RBL have stormed to the top of the league. It’s been mainly 3 at the back with Orban, Konaté and Mukiele and some back 4s.

Quick google says he has just returned to training so probably easing him back in. If we are going to make a move in January or the summer the fact they are doing well without him will strengthen our case.

Speaking of Leipzig Werner is looking shit hot this season, just signed a contract extension and I think he was a free agent next summer. Some rumours though that he has signed it on the agreement that Bayern will pay a smaller fee and still get him rather than leave for free.

His new contract includes a low release clause roughly 30m apparently. 99% likely he'll go to Bayern

He's a complete dickhead but my word what a player, a full two or three levels better than Jesus or Rashford who are similarly aged

I haven't read/heard anything about that and find that hard to believe as £50m :gape: is an incredible amount of money for us however good the player. I randomly came across this, btw, from three years back.

I think I initially saw it in the BBC Gossip, but I can't go back further than Thursday's Gossip.

Arsenal are lining up a transfer mission this week for Hungary international Dominik Szoboszlai, Football Insider can reveal.

The 18-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s most talented teenagers after establishing himself in the first team of Red Bull Salzburg last season.

An Arsenal source has told Football Insider the club will dispatch scouts to watch Szoboszlai in action for his club against Liverpool in Wednesday’s Champions League clash at Anfield.

The Gunners watched him score in the opening Champions League clash against Genk earlier this month and they are big fans of a player who is tipped for big things.

Arsenal tried to sign Szoboszlai in the summer and they remain interested in him for January.

However they face competition from Premier League and European rivals, with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund among the elite clubs who have been on his trail.

The source explained that RB Salzburg have placed a £15million price tag on the in-demand youngster, who is regarded as one of the best teenagers in world football after a series of dazzling performances for club and country in the last year.

Szoboszlai has already been capped five times by Hungary, despite his tender age and the fact he does not even turn 19 until later this month.

He was a regular starter for RB Salzburg in the second half of last season, and his versatility and creativity in midfield has helped him maintain his spot this season.

I might try and catch the Salzburg-Liverpool game to get a closer look myself. From the little I have seen, I hope there's truth to our reported interest.
