They are getting a pretty good deal to be honest.
No loan fee, 12m option to buy, United to subsidise more than half his wages as Inter can't afford it.
They’re still paying an insane £250,000 a week for Sanchez. Shows you how preposterous that deal was.
Someone needs to alert Inter Milan to the availability of one Shkodran Mustafi. World Cup winner and Serie A proven. Still only 27.

Rumors that Mustafi could join Roma on loan with option to sign at €20-25m.
Gotta love how Roma's transfer policy went from "Let's target the most promising talents out there before the big clubs close in" to "Let's bring in garbage from bigger clubs, it's free!" in like 12 months.

They’re short a Monchi. If they want Mustafi, we should encourage it. He might recover his mojo in the Eternal City
To be fair Mustafi is the perfect Manolas replacement.
So pleased I’m not a Roma fan

Remember that letter from that fat fuck owner how Monchi was at fault for everything?
You almost feel sorry for him. Whoever gave him advice when he penned that letter must've been fucking with him.
"Hello fellow Roma fans! First of all, I shall point out that I'm just as Italian as you guys, which is why I'm writing this letter in English and conduct all my interviews through an interpreter and my passport says United States.
Now that I've established trust, let me tell you why Daniele De Rossi, Francesco Totti and Monchi are to blame for every bad decision I've made."

do it. we can survive with luiz, sokratis, chambers, and holding. draft in medley if we're in a pinch
Shit if it means getting rid of Mustafi, draft in Gunnersauras if we're in a pinch!
Would be great to get rid even if just a loan. Hopefully he does well and they sign him permanently next summer.

I've never understood why people react to high options to buy. For the loaning club, any option, no matter how high, is better than a loan without option. It gives them an opportunity that they don't have to take, but they can if they want to.
People just want this poor lad away from the Emirates so he can resurrect his career.

Actually, I want to see him away so we can resurrect our stature.
I don’t have much interest in his career.
Sokratis during the interview mentioned all of our CB options but left out Mustafi. Probably gone.
20-25m option, fuck that. lower it to 15-20m and make in an obligation. not even roma would pick up that option after a year of seeing him play for them.
The rise of big money loan deals this summer.
Is this a sign that clubs are being more creative and flexible with resources? Or are elite football teams’ financial models at a breaking point?
