Dybala to Spurs OFF!

Telegraph reporter says we could end up with ÂŖ17m for Bielik and Thompson. Mad money.

Ricky already erasing Koscielny from his vocabulary.

Does anyone else read anything into the fact that Ornstein, as far as I'm aware, hasn't said a single word about Upamecano?

Has he said anything about other players we've failed to land that we were in for? Seems to be the clubs go to guy for confirmation once things have reached a certain stage and they're confident. If they're still after Upamecano then they wont feed the press is my take.

Given the Luiz deal is only for 2 years, I would like to think that the smart thing to do is have an agreement in principle to sign Upamecano next summer and maybe loan them ESR this season as a goodwill gesture.

😆

"Good Morning, Specsavers. How can I help?"

"I'd like to book an appointmet please."

Chiellini must have filled in Dybala on Tottenham's history.

Fucking lovely. Now for us to pull off a madness in the last few hours. 6 hours to go.

It's Juve who pulled the plug.

In all seriousness, as funny as this is, what kind of shitty joke club are Juve. Whoring Dybala out and treating him like shit, and when he finally agrees to a transfer they suddenly change their mind.

Didn't Real do the same to Bale? Perhaps, trying to show who is boss?

We've got everyone we went for. When Raul knocks, remember?

But seriously, he did tweet about Zaha and PÊpÊ. Earlier in the window he tweeted about Andersen, Praet, Frazer etc.

Just surprised he hasn't been told to rule it out if it's definitely off and also didn't jump on and say we were interested when it was clear from reliable sources that we had made a bid. He likes his "as others have said" or "as per others" these days, but not a word on Upamecano.

No doubt just me wishing.

The story is that Dybala wanted some fees/image rights paid amounting to ÂŖ12m, Spurs didn't want to pay it and Juve probably decided it wouldn't be worth it if it came out of their end. Essentially the same reason it broke down with United.

Shame about Dybala hes class but very difficult to accommodate

Cant see him go there still, expect this to fall through

First Pepe 2019 now this. By now I've flown past Ornstein in the ITK rankings

Omg I cant stop laughing 😆 😆 😆

Ornstein hasn't come out with his customary 'no/no more incomings expected at Arsenal today' so there's still hope for one last min madness.

Levy going for the old Gazidis "I tried" routine. Honestly I wouldn't mind them blowing money on Sessegnon, don't really rate him from what I've seen.

This Tancredi is right for once. Maybe gives a little context as to why Juve decided against selling and why Dybala was probably never going there (aside from the fact that he wouldn't have wanted to)

As much as Juve clearly don't rate Dybala, to sell and make so little would have been foolish.

Bless little Tottenham for trying desperately to cash in on the fact that they became a teeny, tiny bit relevant for 5 minutes in their heroic, but ultimately unsuccessful run to a final.

Love how spurs fans fully believed they were getting him, already bragging about him on Twitter and that.  😆

But, but Mauricio, don't leave, I tried. Really I did. sniffles I'll do better next time.

Fuck off Tottenham. 😆

Feels like we've been bought by some billionaire since the start of the window

When all that changed was replacing a bald soulless corporate fuck with a dodgy hairy football bloke who washes his teeth with gravel and 15 year old single cask

Btw, I find this Iwobi price tag of ÂŖ40m, that we're reportedly willing to accept, incredibly stupid if we don't have an incoming replacement lined up.

Please don't sell Iwobi.

I'd say thats the plan. The big deals all seem to have a long term element to them. I'd say largely because they know they can protect the value of players who aren't going to age out.

I think we only sell Iwobi if we are doing another madness. Otherwise it's makes no sense.

This was gooners wishlist in April when the budget shit was reported 😆

Thank God qs isn’t on our transfer team... Ryan Fraser, smh.

I'm rooting for Chambers and Holding to claim a starting spot, but I think they'll get a lot of games anyway.

what more could we want now? A Mustafi transfer? A deadline bid for Dunk?

The worst bit is Fraser, Gueye, Chillwell and Dunk would have cost considerably more than the players we signed this summer.

Dybala to spurs could still happen. These things have a tendency to go back and forth until the window closes.
