I get the frustration over the turn of events, but we would have been fucked with Kos too. We're not in this situation because a 34 year old defender with a dodgy achilles wanted out. We're here because we've had a three-month transfer window and it didn't occur to the assholes in charge to actually fix the defence until it was way too late.
We knew what had to be done around Christmas, we knew what had to be done in April and we knew what had to be done on the day the window opened. This is a massive, unforgivable fuckup by everyone in charge.
