He receives the ball in our half plenty to start attacks, just like he did last season. It was an oft-cited feature of his play. He also plays on the shoulder when it makes sense. He had plenty of opportunities to run at people today, and it was OK a few times, left the ball behind once, bit erratic, etc.
We are using him fine, in his preferred position, in his preferred role. He could use a more overlapping fullback, but Chambers isn't a total slouch either.
He's out of form, that's all there really is to it.
