Oh, they're both much better than we are right now (and City are obviously much better whatever form we're in).

City are always poor defensively, but a back four of Cancelo, Stones, Fernandinho and Mendy is taking the piss. Not a single one of them is even a semi-decent defender. Ederson is also dodgy as can be in everyhting but his kicking.

I refrain from doing so where possible because I don't see the point of adding to the negativity. We went past being a joke a while ago now.

That doesn't change my thoughts about Chelsea and City though: they are both teams that defend in a way that I can't take seriously. It's shambolic.

Looks the case until you realised it's within the technology's margin of error. Bring back 2 frame to when the ball touched the head of Mahrez and he is on by a good margin. The technology can't differentiate offside to the mm when it's this close. Just give the attacker the advantage.

You'd think that they'd just let that margin of error be the new definition of being "in line", but that would be way too convenient for everyone.
