With Bayern faltering and both Madrid and Barca looking very uneven in La Liga, these guys have to be favorites for a double right now. Means more money to go after another superstar. These are dark days

A good example of what a pretty good player (but by god certainly no more) can look like in a team that has good players everywhere, a sprinkling of great players, and a well functioning, well balanced team.

I reckon people should bear that in mind before they go overboard about some of the individuals. Just as the reverse works in the clown show we're serving up at Arsenal right now.

It's hard to see how this Liverpool team become so darn good. Last year record tally they were unlucky not to win the league but their start this season after winning the UCL is immense. Even ignoring all their jammy last minute winners their performances are superb.

People was adamant Salah was one season wonder, Alisson/VVD is nowhere near worth the price, Mane wouldn't start for us over Iwobi, Firmino not better than Lacazette etc. Not of those predictions last time came true. Really lucky to assemble a squad like this out of nowhere

What we should have is someone like Zaha in place of Laca. Pool is all about better squad building, not necessarily always having better players.

They've been grinding like mad recently. Away from home they're vulnerable but hanging in. I hope they'll get caught in one of those away games soon, and surely by season's end.

Sterling has Arnold on toast, but the rest of them aren't worth a damn.

Laca's inconsistent control and zero midfield capability as well as multiple touches would diminish their attack by starving Mane and Salah of the ball.

I have consigned myself to seeing them win the League finally and having to endure their smug fans. They have incredible fixture congestion coming up and I just hope they lose a game soon to end the prospect of an unbeaten season which will also see them cross the 49 unbeaten mark.
