No offence taken, different opinions about a hypothetical scenario are natural
I appreciate that the unreal depth in their squad is a major reason for their dominance but their best XI is far ahead of the competition too in my opinion. They had one weakness in an aging Fernandinho and replaced him with virtually the perfect Guardiola midfielder, not to speak of Bernardo Sterling Aguero KDB who all have a shout at being the best player in the league.
Think you're massively underrating their defence too, Laporte is on his day as good as VVD, everyone else there is extremely adept at playing it out the back. People still have this idea of an English blood and thunder defender in their system but there's nothing wrong with defending with the ball at your feet in fact it's better as even though Liverpools Alisson is levels better than Ederson they had the same goals conceded in the end.
