Dules, you need to understand that the problems are far deeper than a CB here and a striker there. It has very little to do with personnel at this point.
I will always be of the opinion that the squad we have now is good enough to win the league. In my mind we have the best squad in the PL, and the manager has completely failed to get the best out of this group of players.
Did you see what our starting centreback and stating midfielder did today for Bolton's two goals?
I saw it, and may I point out a pattern here; They made exactly the same mistake. Conceding goals, or not scoring goals for that matter, when faced with the same situation is sort of a trademark of Arsenal under Wenger IMO.
With 4 games to go of the season one would expect the team that has conceded the most goals from set pieces in the whole of the EPL to have gone over such situations in training, over, and over, and over, until the players actually have learned to deal with them. They do train every day you know? It really isn´t rocket science.
Just an example Ricky! I could go on and on about the manager´s inability to deal with how Man U are playing against us, or his inability to counter how toothless we look against decently organized low defences, or his inability to use use players so they actually play to their strengths. On and on...
