Yep

Just in midfield and attack we have: Foden, Grealish, Sterling, Sancho, Mount, Saka, Greenwood, Rashford, Kane, Calvert Lewin, Maddison, and Ings.

Players like Harvey Barnes, Ollie Watkins, Bamford, Hudson-Odoi, Ward-Prowse might not even get a look in.

With James Justin emerging, you still got Chilwell, TAA, Walker as full backs we are stacked

The only issue is center back. Holding will probably make it, along with Magiure, Keane, Mings and maybe Konsa. It is the weakest part of our team by far.

Not that I particularly rate them but you still have Coady, Dier, Gomez, Godfrey...

RB is the most stacked. Walker, TAA, Justin, AMN, Trippier, James, Lamptey. I think Saka can only get in the team as LB looking at the forward options.

Wonder if people like Bellingham, Greenwood, McNeil, Eze, Curtis Jones, ESR, Philips have an outside chance... just stupidly stacked. If Southgate is brave this team can go far.

I haven’t seen this much talent since the 90s. It’s incredible. I think concentrating development resources in the big clubs has really helped.

Saka is best used as a left back. He will make the team regardless. He is one of the best players however you shake it up. And Southgate likes him as the left winger in the 343 with AMN as his understudy. The most disappointing player at England level is TAA. He seems highly optimized for Klopp’s system

I would also exclude Mount. Yes not same quality as these other boys.

There's also Jamal Musiala, who Southgate should fight for. Germany is desperate to get him on their NT.

Anyone else watching this PSG-Nice game. PSG just went up via Arsenal transfer legend Draxler. Nothing Saliba could do about it. He’s looked decent so far.

Mbappé is just a different class of athlete versus these Ligue 1 boys. If he wants to get past someone, that's that. He just cruises past them with the ball stuck to his feet. There isn't much resistance.

Saliba has been good marshalling his defence. He is very vocal. Constantly guiding them on where to go to mark men, and setting the defensive line. On his toes. And he's been a calm head in some tricky situations.

In all honesty, Moise Kean has looked quite good at PSG on loan.

Don't know why it never happened for him at Everton.

Mentalvortex, what do you think of this Nice right back, Pelmard. He has done an admirable job on Mbappé. He looks small but he's strong and fast. Grown into the game.

And you can't really say "that wouldn't work in the PL" when it's against PSG either.

Yeah he has looked decent tonight.

Don't know a lot about him though. Their other right back, Youssef Atal, gets more of the media hype.

Nobody can convince me he isn't ready for us this season, especially after he hit the ground running from the very first match after 1 training session with Nice 9 months from the last time he played competitively.

He probably looks very different after 6 months with training versus after 9 months of not even getting on a field.
Also, based on how we bought last summer and the size of the squad, he might not have been top priority for Arteta. If I was DoF/ Vinai, I wouldn’t have paid for the Willian/ Luiz, etc and forced Saliba on the manager.
