Yeah, it's about using it as a slur, not about whether the person is actually gay or not, just like when Sarri called Mancini a fucking faggot. If you want to make a stand against homophobia then it's completely unacceptable to use language that brands gay people in a derogatory way. There are shades of difference of course, but if you have a zero tolerance policy then they shouldn't really matter.

I agree there should be a zero tolerance policy either way. Establishing faggot as an insult is not even remotely as bad as calling someone a nigger though, that statement is seriously wrong on a bunch of levels.

I don't doubt Neymar or think he is lying but it would set a very dangerous precedent for Gonzalez to get in trouble just based on what Neymar said.

Punish them both and be done with it. We shouldn’t tolerate either kind of nonsense. We can’t have players kneeling before games and then racially abusing each other minutes later. And it’s no wonder there are no openly gay/ bisexual footballers if they are busy calling each other faggots

Would you rather have taken Fofana vs Gabriel? Only really saw him properly in the Coupe de France. He was impressive there. Actually took the ball clean off Neymar a couple of times, which you can imagine is hard to do, and had some nice interceptions. Passing through the lines looked crisp as well. I think Leicester will flip him for 2x easily

Now PSG is claiming to having footage which shows that Alvaro called Neymar a monkey while in response Marseille claims to have clips which show Neymar calling their Japanese defender Sakai a Chinese piece of shit.

Spurs - Leyton Orient postponed because Orient players down with Covid-19. Spurs were supposed to play tonight, Thursday, Sunday and then again next week if they beat Orient. Hopefully they don’t get a bye and have to play two League Cup games next week.
Playing this cup is mental. In future seasons, the FA should ask sponsors of the FA cup to up prize money to help cover the gate and prize of this cup and get rid of this thing.
