We have an opportunity there so hope we can capitalise.

It doesn't make a lot of sense, one of Valverde or Bellingham will have to be dropped to play Wirtz. I have a feeling Bellingham will get chopped and end up in England in a couple of years. He's already facing mounting criticism with his goal drought.

1) scenario 1: Madrid is a financial juggernaut far beyond any club. The fixture pile up means that stars like the fact they can get paid, and continue to play for the biggest club in the world that gets a lot of them for free
2) scenario 2: players don’t really care about fixture pileup. They just want to play. So a couple big names leave.

I am curious about the first scenario.
