If it's a scan just because he felt something then hopefully not too serious. The only thing that worries me though is that Martinelli doesn't seem the type to complain about a little pain and go for scans.

Apparently a muscular edema. That probably sounds worse that it actually is.

So.. muscle swelling from fluid.. Sounds like he took a knock.. he should be ok

if you didn't get that info from somebody credible, please don't let us know about it next time. way too many bullshit con artists out there with their paid for blue check getting engagement because people just have to share their ramblings.

With all the rumours of our interest in Nico Williams, it's pretty clear that Arteta wants to upgrade at LM. Martinelli is good but it's looking more like he's peaked and isn't reaching the next level.

It’s the position in most need of upgrading and probably the easiest position to improve upon

Martinelli should have put away that chance yesterday. He has a lack of composure in front of goal

That miss yesterday was shockingly basic.

Clrnc I knew he was going to miss that chance. He telegraphed his finish.

He probably should have put it away... BUT.. he didnt miss, it was saved.. I know, a small difference

He’s simply not a killer. Lost his X factor.

That miss last night was criminal.

Arteta mentioned it twice in his post-match interview which means only one thing, Martinelli is in his black book.

Two things will happen next summer:

    A) we will def sign someone to replace him next summer and he will just be a bench player full time, basically Sterling of this season.
    B) we will sell him.

Either way it’s not looking good brav.

This isn’t the first post-match interview this season that Arteta mentions a Martinelli miss. Martinelli’s days are numbered if he doesn’t step up as our Mané
