Big Willie watching a lot of sky coverage over the weekend and they were talking about United, Keane and Carragher were tearing into Rashford because his end product has dried up and he has nothing else. They were complaining about his lack of workrate and good example for the rest of the team. Richards claimed it was a confidence issue and they disagreed saying he should still be working harder. Struck me that despite his lack of goal involvement Martinelli is, for me at least, still playing really well. He's working hard, he's getting into good situations, he's still trying things. The lack of goals hasn't seen him drop his head or shirk responsibility, he just keeps plugging away. Great attitude and I think he's been a little unlucky on the goal front, if he keeps doing what he's doing they'll come too. Especially if Ode is back to his usual level.
goon The one thing I picked up at the Lens game is how he simply refuses to make runs in behind or at least to stretch the defence.
This is why I'm not a huge fan of putting him at CF. People seem to think because he's quick he'll have that off the ball movement but its just not his game.
