Superb interview. The praise for Ødegaard was probably the standout.
He's full of praise for Smith Rowe and Saka as well, they seem to get along swimmingly, which is great to see. Standout quote was that he believes we will be one of the best teams in the world, it's so essential that he believes we're building something great here, will be of immense help when Klopp inevitably tries to get his dirty paws on him.
Also, the praise he had for Arteta and the tidbits about his instructions were some of the most encouraging things I heard about Arteta as a coach for me so far. Finally some insight into our attacking patterns rather than just telling is he's some tactical genius without going into detail. Maybe it really is Stuivenberg who's the problem when it comes to our blunt attack, his "You were supposed to mark the full-back" is about the only quote in there I didn't like.
I gather Marti will be used as a CF sooner rather than later as well, will be interesting to see, he has confidence he can do it, and I won't doubt this kid.
